Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Convents (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac has chosen The Fight Song as his entrance music. Robin Convents has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robin Convents!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Mac!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Convents closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mac to the mat! Mac manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Convents avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Convents stands and throws Mac's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mac is looking for a sweep.

Convents is trying to get an arm triangle but Mac is defending well.
Mac tries to bench press Convents off him but Convents keeps the position.
Mac is not content to let Convents control the position.
Mac tries to buck Convents off but Convents is having none of it.

Convents decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mac to his feet.
Mac throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Convents's waist but Convents gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mac off to one side.
Mac on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Convents. Convents obviously looking to wear him down.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mac shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Convents as he avoids it easily.
Mac looks gassed!
Mac fails to land the takedown.
Robin Convents has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Mac.
Mac tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Convents drives through with a takedown into guard.
Convents wants to get up but he can't break Mac's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Convents distracts Mac with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Convents stands up from guard. Let's bang!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Convents pressing his opponent against the cage.
Mac blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Convents escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Convents fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mac.
Convents lands with a slapping head kick.
Convents works Mac's body with a nice hook.
Convents lands a with a good body shot.
Convents pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Convents darts in and clinches Mac up against the cage.
Convents tries for a takedown but Mac manages to get underhooks.
Mac is trying desperately to land a takedown but Convents is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mac.

Convents breaks the clinch.
Convents tries to clinch up.

Convents clinches up with Mac and pushes him back against the cage.

Convents pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Convents rushes Mac and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The referee calls for Convents to work.
Convents wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mac has him pressed against the cage.

Convents manages to break the clinch.

Convents wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Convents tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Convents gets underhooks to prevent Mac's takedown attempt.

Convents's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Convents moves into the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Convents as the two fighters clinch.

Convents breaks the clinch.
Convents scores with a head kick.

Convents closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Convents breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Convents throws a head kick that Mac semi-blocks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Convents, right into the meat.

Convents closes the distance and clinches.
Mac is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Convents breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robin Convents dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Convents fails in his attempt to clinch.
BOOM! Convents lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mac. Mac tries to recover but Convents is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mac lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
