Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erkki Junttila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Rivero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junttila comes to the cage accompanied by -. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Rivero was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Junttila.
Junttila misses with the combination.
Rivero goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Nice takedown defense from Rivero. No joy for Junttila on that attempt.
Junttila has a takedown stuffed.

Rivero had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Junttila is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rivero Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Junttila's back instead.
Rivero scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Junttila is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rivero is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Rivero has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Junttila's body.
You can see the frustration on Junttila's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Rivero tries to get the hooks in deep but Junttila pushed the leg off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
What can Junttila do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Rivero lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Rivero lands punches and elbows.
Junttila is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Junttila rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Junttila has a hand on Rivero's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Rivero takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Rivero has control of Junttila's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Junttila regains control of the situation pretty easily.
