The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atkinson stuffs the takedown.

Bell decides to stand and escape the position.

Bell closes the distance and pushes Atkinson back into the cage.

Bell is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Atkinson can't fight it off and eventually Bell manages to take the fight to the floor. Atkinson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bell stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Bell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Atkinson moves away.
It looked like Atkinson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Bell counters with a crisp one two that drops Atkinson! Bell thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Atkinson to his feet! Atkinson is in big trouble!

Well Bell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
