Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bower (ranked 6512 p4p, 451 weight class) and Lars Bullock (ranked 6497 p4p, 450 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bower lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bullock takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bullock moves into the clinch.
Bower prevents a body shot from Bullock.
Bower is trying to force a seperation but Bullock has the dominant position.
Bower is trying to push Bullock away but Bullock has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Bower pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bullock is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bullock manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Bullock ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bullock no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bullock lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Bower bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bullock's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bullock has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Bower is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bower displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bullock.
Bower appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Bullock has closed the distance and engaged Bower in a clinch.

Bullock dives in and grabs Bower's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bower pushes down on Bullock's head and hops out.
Nice straight punches there by Bower. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bower.
We've been informed that Bullock has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

and Bower counters with a nice uppercut.
Bower digs a good hook to Bullock's body.
Bower cracks a nice hook into Bullock's ribs.
Bower changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Bullock.
Bullock is breathing heavily.
Bower tries to bench press Bullock off him but Bullock keeps the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bower is being controlled here.
Bullock's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
You can see the frustration on Bower's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bullock has hold of Bower's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bower tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bullock cranks the arm and Bower screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bower, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Lars Bullock!
In defeat, Patrick Bower stepped up to the mic, saying 'This was a good lesson. I will work hard to get better and better each day. I'll be back!'.
