The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill has closed the distance and engaged Lothbrok in a clinch.
Lothbrok tries to circle away but Hill has him pinned against the cage.
Lothbrok looking to slow down the pace here.
Lothbrok tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hill smiles and moves away.

Hill tries a head kick but it misses.
Lothbrok wants to counter the offense by Hill and move into the clinch position.
Hill throws a leg kick

so Lothbrok counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hill trying to keep a closed guard but Lothbrok is proving a slippery customer.
Lothbrok postures up and lands a big shot to Hill's brow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hill is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lothbrok cracks Hill with a solid left hand.

Lothbrok is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lothbrok working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lothbrok wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving.
Hill wants to improve his position but instead Lothbrok has moved into half guard.
Lothbrok wants to control but Hill is keeping him busy.

Lothbrok seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
