Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Fuentes (ranked 5085 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Calgrand (ranked 22556 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calgrand clinches up against the cage.

Calgrand is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fuentes can't fight it off and eventually Calgrand manages to take the fight to the floor. Fuentes looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Calgrand accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fuentes has one foot on Calgrand's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Fuentes throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Calgrand tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fuentes is in Calgrand's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fuentes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Calgrand looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Calgrand looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Calgrand!

Calgrand goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fuentes has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Calgrand but great work by Fuentes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
