Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Check shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Check was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Cordera is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Check stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Check is breathing heavily.
Cordera shoots and misses
and Check counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cordera won't be happy with that.
Cordera is looking to regain half guard here but Check keeps moving and retains side control.
Check in the domination position with Cordera hanging on.
Cordera explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Cordera.

Check is trying to get back to half guard.
Cordera tries to score with some ground and pound. Check controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Cordera decides to stand up, so the ref orders Check to his feet.
Cordera throws a series of strikes that have Check backpedaling.
Cordera fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Check, pushing him back against the cage.
Cordera manages to break the clinch.
Cordera fails to land with a series of punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cordera.
Horrible takedown by Cordera or perhaps it was just good defense by Check which made him look bad.
Chin Check has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kato Cordera.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Check takes a kick to the side of the head.
Cordera shoots in but no luck this time.
Cordera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Check's waist but Check gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cordera off to one side.
Cordera fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Check, pushing him back against the cage.
Cordera is working for takedown but Check is calmly controlling the position for now.
Cordera pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Check throws a body kick that misses.
Cordera darts in and clinches Check up against the cage.
Cordera jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Check walks away with a smile on his face. Cordera gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cordera shoots in but Check avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cordera avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cordera has managed to clinch.
Cordera pulls guard.
Cordera is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Check wants to stand but Cordera has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Check is sitting in close to Cordera's body. Cordera has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Check is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Check is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cordera.
