Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Upshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye west - Amazing. Silva has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Upshaw misses with a head kick.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Upshaw looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Upshaw tries to score with a low kick but Silva moves his leg out of the way.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Upshaw as he jumps to the side.

Upshaw decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Upshaw not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Upshaw slows the pace down in half guard.
Silva is trying to control but can't.

Upshaw is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Upshaw.
Upshaw is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silva sees it coming and defends easily.
Upshaw perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Upshaw is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer.
Upshaw is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Silva is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
