Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eliz Gracie (ranked 1736 p4p, 234 weight class) and Devon Lester (ranked 4848 p4p, 484 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eliz Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Devon Lester!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks for a takedown but Lester sprawls well.
Lester throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.

Gracie gets caught napping as Lester dives in and scores a takedown. Gracie manages to retain guard.

Gracie throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lester looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lester got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lester has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
Lester stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lester has picked Gracie up and slammed him! Gracie can't keep hold of the triangle and Lester manages to pass to side control!
Gracie manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lester has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Gracie defend it? Lester steps over the head and cranks it - Gracie is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lester!
