Wood tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Wood fails in his attempt to clinch.

Kermodian is looking to improve his position but Wood isn't that keen on the idea.
Kermodian tries to hold on but Wood pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kermodian is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wood is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Wood seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Kermodian is holding on tight.

Wood throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kermodian because Wood loaded up on that one.
Wood prevents Kermodian from getting the reversal.

Wood has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kermodian has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
