Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henry Armstrong (ranked 2996 p4p, 325 weight class) and Hafid Lumihi (ranked 3854 p4p, 391 weight class). Armstrong comes to the cage accompanied by 999 - Homicide. The key to victory for Henry Armstrong has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hafid Lumihi!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lumihi throws a head kick but Armstrong moves out of range.
Lumihi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Lumihi scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Armstrong bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Armstrong throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lumihi stuffs the takedown attempt from Armstrong. Armstrong gets slowly back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Armstrong shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Armstrong has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lumihi wants to control but Armstrong is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Lumihi is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Armstrong is controlling him well.

Armstrong wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lumihi, who protects the arm well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lumihi can do anything to dispel that myth.
Armstrong creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lumihi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Armstrong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Armstrong tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Armstrong has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Armstrong advances nicely into full mount.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Armstrong quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Armstrong but it's paid off an Lumihi is forced to tap! Nice work by Armstrong.

After the fight, Henry Armstrong was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
