Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yun Won Hyang (ranked 977 p4p, 136 weight class) and James Kingsley (ranked 1008 p4p, 144 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yun Won Hyang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, James Kingsley!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingsley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hyang throws out the jab.
Yun Won Hyang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kingsley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hyang.
Kingsley misses with a takedown
and Hyang counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Kingsley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hyang bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kingsley's head.
Hyang seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Hyang fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kingsley has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hyang connects with a leg kick. Kingsley looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hyang displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kingsley.

Kingsley takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kingsley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hyang defends well and Kingsley ends up having to push Hyang into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Kingsley takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hyang, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Yun Won Hyang was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
