Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Tim Davis (ranked 5850 p4p, 475 weight class) and Dean Switcher (ranked 6577 p4p, 499 weight class). Dean Switcher will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis loads up on a big right hand but Switcher slips the punch.
Davis throws a body shot but no joy.
Davis throws a jab when Switcher was well out of range.
Davis takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Switcher takes a swing at Davis's ribcage but misses.
Switcher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Davis throws a hook but Switcher avoids it easily.
Switcher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davis was well out of range. Poor timing from Switcher.
Switcher throws a series of punches but Davis moves out of range.
Davis throws a counter high kick but Switcher was just alert enough to avoid it.
Davis misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Switcher misses the shot to the body.

Switcher will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Davis throws a hook to the side of Switcher's head but Switcher sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Switcher throws a sloppy head kick and Davis moves out of range easily.

Switcher takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Davis tries to counter by clinching up but Switcher breaks away and moves out of range.
Davis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Switcher throws a right and a left that both miss.

Davis thuds a left hand into Switcher's body.
Switcher is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Davis rather than just go for the knockout.
Davis scores with a decent looking hook.
Davis takes the fight into the clinch.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Davis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Switcher's efforts to push away.
Davis makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Switcher breaks the clinch.
Davis is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Switcher takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Davis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Switcher.
Davis throws an overhand right that lands on Switcher's shoulder, as Switcher tries to avoid the shot.
Switcher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Davis closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Switcher crashing to the mat! Switcher uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Switcher is rocked!
Switcher has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Davis finds it's way round the side to connect with Switcher's head.
Switcher is still on wobbly legs! Can Davis finish him?
Davis avoids the head kick by Switcher.
Davis digs a good body shot into Switcher's ribs.
Davis lands with a thumping leg kick.
Davis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Switcher doesn't seem bothered though.
Switcher looks winded!
Davis connects with a quick right hand that sends Switcher tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Tim Davis!
Our winner, Tim Davis, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
