Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conor Daley (ranked 2231 p4p, 246 weight class) and Sven Svennson (ranked 2167 p4p, 241 weight class). Daley comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murphy's - Shipping Up To Boston. Sven Svennson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Conor Daley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sven Svennson!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svennson cracks Daley with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Conor Daley has been cut.
Svennson throws a poor cross that misses
and Daley counters with a nice low kick that buckles Svennson's knee momentarily.
Svennson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Daley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Svennson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Daley is trying to defend but Svennson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Svennson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Daley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Svennson.
Daley pushes Svennson off looking to stand but Svennson dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Daley manages to get to full guard.

Svennson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Nice body punch from Daley.
Good shot there by Daley.
Daley lands a nice looking body kick.
Svennson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Daley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Svennson connects with a looping right hand.

Svennson cracks Daley with an uppercut from hell and Daley crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Svennson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Daley is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Svennson pushes down on Daley's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Oh Daley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Daley won't allow Svennson to pass to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Svennson lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Daley! More strikes land and this one is all over! Svennson jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
