The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Wolfe decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

De Wolfe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Arruda to the mat! Arruda manages to get full guard.
De Wolfe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

De Wolfe is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Arruda doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time De Wolfe.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
De Wolfe thumps Arruda with a low kick.

De Wolfe is pulling down on Arruda's head. It's preventing any offense from Arruda, at least for the moment.
Arruda would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
De Wolfe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
