Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clark Kent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kryzstof Zmuda!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent pivots, looking for a leg kick but Zmuda is out of range and Kent settles back down.
Kent misses with a hook

and Zmuda holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Zmuda ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zmuda no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Zmuda had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kent defends it easily.
Kent is looking to stand up but Zmuda won't let him.
Kent knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zmuda on the ground.
Zmuda working a defensive guard here.

Zmuda looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kent would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zmuda looking for a sweep. Not yet Zmuda, not yet.
Zmuda is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Zmuda is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kent would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Zmuda throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Zmuda looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kent is one step ahead there.

Zmuda trying to keep a closed guard but Kent is proving a slippery customer.
Kent trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zmuda's guard.

Kent gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Zmuda looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zmuda throws a combination that misses
and Kent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like Kryzstof Zmuda has been cut.
Kent misses with a double jab.

Kent lands a left and a right that send Zmuda crashing to the mat, dazed. Kent thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kent circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Zmuda to the canvas! Zmuda doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kent keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clark Kent!
