Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
joyce scores with a push kick.
joyce shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
joyce ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
joyce changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kopperman tries to avoid it but joyce manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kopperman to the ground. Kopperman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
joyce is looking to clinch.

and joyce counters with a single leg into guard. Kopperman didn't expect that.

joyce remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

joyce feints and as Kopperman raises his hands in defense, joyce changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
