Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zane Jimenez (ranked 5193 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Grayce (ranked 5185 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grayce closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jimenez's guard.
Jimenez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Grayce is one step ahead there.
Grayce forces his way into half guard.
Grayce is figuring out what he wants to do next.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jimenez is defending against the submission attempts here by Grayce.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grayce connects with a nice short shot to Jimenez's temple.

Jimenez wants to control but Grayce is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Grayce is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jimenez sees it coming and defends easily.
Still in half guard, Grayce seems content to control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Grayce shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jimenez is trying to defend but Grayce finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Grayce is looking for a kimura here.
Grayce is controlling the pace.
Grayce tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jimenez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Jimenez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Grayce wants to work for an arm triangle but Jimenez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Grayce is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jimenez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Grayce.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Grayce dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Grayce throws a body shot but no joy.
Jimenez dodges the punch combination from Grayce.
Jimenez tries to clinch but Grayce moves out of range.
Grayce swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
John Grayce is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jimenez moves forwards but Grayce connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Grayce tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Grayce has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Grayce dives in and grabs Jimenez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jimenez pushes down on Grayce's head and hops out.
Jimenez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grayce paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Grayce shoots in and bounces Jimenez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Jimenez manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Jimenez prevents a takedown attempt there.
Grayce breaks the clinch.
Grayce circles away from the clinch attempt
and Grayce counters with a takedown into side control.
Jimenez explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Jimenez moves to clinch but Grayce breaks away
and Grayce counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Grayce lands a nice short elbow.
Grayce trying to mount his opponent but Jimenez defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jimenez trying to hold on to Grayce's head to control him but Grayce postures up.
Jimenez tries to roll over but Grayce keeps him under control.
Jimenez is trying to control but can't.
Grayce is taking a breather. Jimenez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Let's hope that Grayce has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Jimenez tries to get to full guard but Grayce has control of the leg.

Grayce drops an elbow to the side of Jimenez's head.
Jimenez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Grayce's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Grayce's back!

Grayce manages to reverse the position and now he's in Jimenez's guard. Nice work there by Grayce.
Grayce tries to stand but Jimenez is controlling from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Grayce is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Grayce throws a big right hand that misses.
Grayce preventing the sweep.
Grayce sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Grayce forces his way into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but John Grayce will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Jimenez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Grayce pushes Jimenez up against the cage in a clinch.
Jimenez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Grayce is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jimenez to the mat. Jimenez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Jimenez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Grayce not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Grayce working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Jimenez working a defensive guard but Grayce manages to pass into side control anyway.

Grayce cracks Jimenez with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Jimenez from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Grayce is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Oh Jimenez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grayce scoring with big shots to the body. Jimenez is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Jimenez was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.
