Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Foster fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.
Silva tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Silva landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Foster tries for a takedown but Silva manages to get underhooks.

Foster breaks the clinch.
Foster displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.

Silva gets tackled into the cage by Foster. Foster maintains the clinch.
Silva stalls.
Foster's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva tries to score a body lock takedown but Foster shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Foster forces Silva back against the cage and clinches.
Foster could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Foster displaying some good clinch control by pressing Silva up against the cage.

Silva lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Foster backwards.

Foster gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Foster is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silva sees it coming and defends easily.

Foster is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Silva pushes Foster off looking to stand but Foster dives back in and keeps control.
Foster seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Foster is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Foster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Silva is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Foster jumps into side control!

Foster in side control lands a decent elbow.

Foster lands some shots froms side control.
Foster looks up at the clock and then as Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Foster smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Silva is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Foster is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Foster looking to secure an arm triangle but Silva defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is trying to escape the mount.
Silva looks winded!

Silva has left one of his arms exposed and Foster doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Silva screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
