Mathis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Grimmson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mathis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

It looks like Jacob Mathis has been cut.
Grimmson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Grimmson cracks Mathis on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mathis falls backwards against the cage. Grimmson follows up with more strikes that drop Mathis to his knees. Grimmson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mathis! This one is all over!
