Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Secunda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perrin Aybara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aybara has chosen Skinny Puppy Protest as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aybara punishes Secunda's body with a nice straight punch.
Aybara doesn't manage to clinch there - Secunda circles away.
Secunda bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Aybara's face as Secunda controls the position.
Aybara regains half guard.
Secunda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Aybara does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Aybara gets back to full guard.
Secunda forces his way into half guard.
Secunda thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Aybara's head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Secunda slips a nice elbow through Aybara's hands, connecting with Aybara's forehead.
Aybara has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Secunda is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Aybara is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Secunda pulls his head out easily.
Secunda stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Aybara pivots, looking for a leg kick but Secunda is out of range and Aybara settles back down.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Aybara takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Secunda changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Aybara fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Secunda closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

and Secunda counters with a shoot takedown. Aybara fights it but they end up in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Secunda's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Aybara looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Secunda looks to land a combination. Aybara sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Aybara tries to clinch up but Secunda circles away and keeps his distance.
Secunda closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aybara to the mat! Aybara manages to get full guard.
Secunda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Aybara has momentary wrist control but Secunda slips an elbow through the middle.

Secunda stands and throws Aybara's legs to the side, diving into side control.
