The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riley tries to sprawl but Wade drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Riley throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Riley misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Riley is doing well to control the position and prevent Wade from advancing to side control.
Wade is trying to control. Riley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Wade tries to pass to full mount but Riley defends it.
Wade landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wade is pressing down on Riley's thigh, looking to free his foot. Riley is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wade wants to get back to full guard but Riley has mounted him!

Wade is trying to reverse the position but instead Riley has taken his back - oops!

Riley is looking to cinch up a triangle. Wade throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Riley's body to avoid the submission. Riley has instead reached around Wade's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Riley arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
