The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Gekyume with that takedown attempt.
Joe Dawson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gekyume rushes Dawson and presses him up against the cage.

Dawson lands a big right hook! Gekyume looks hurt but is still standing! Dawson lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Gekyume falls down and Dawson dives in with a huge hammer fist! Gekyume's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Dawson runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
