Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Third Round Romero (ranked 4189 p4p, 492 weight class) and Rect Umm (ranked 20498 p4p, 670 weight class). Third Round Romero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Third Round Romero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Rect Umm!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Umm clinches up with Romero and pushes him back against the ropes.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Romero creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Umm misses with a punch on the inside.

Umm's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Romero looks to score with a jab to the body but Umm is just out of range.

Romero lands a head kick that bluckles Umm and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Romero no doubt looking to push for a finish!

I was talking to Romero's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Romero doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Umm is trying to push Romero away but Romero has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Romero has a couple of punches blocked by Umm.

and Umm makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Romero tries to clinch but Umm is having none of it.
Umm avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Romero.
Romero throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Romero rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Umm moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Romero tries to land a front kick but Umm steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Umm misses with a looping right.

and Umm counters with a nice uppercut that drops Romero onto his backside! Romero bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Romero moves away from the strike by Umm.
It appears Romero was looking to counter with a kick there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Third Round Romero will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Romero is looking to wear down Umm with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Umm moves out of range as Romero strikes.

and Umm counters with a nice uppercut.

and Umm makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Umm counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Romero goes down! Umm rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Romero is up to one knee.... 8,9.... He's up! The referee says he's good to go, so we're back to the action!

Romero takes a swing at Umm's ribcage but misses.
Oh Romero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Romero looks to throw the jab but Umm is out of range.
Umm connects with a quick right hand that sends Romero tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Rect Umm!
Rect Umm seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
