The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobbie misses with a straight left.

Bobbie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bobbie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bobbie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gogo keeps working.

Bobbie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gogo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bobbie but great work by Gogo.
Bobbie is looking to regain half guard here but Gogo keeps moving and retains side control.
Gogo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gogo is staying tight to Bobbie's torso, preventing him from escaping.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bobbie can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bobbie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gogo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bobbie is in Gogo's guard.
Bobbie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Gogo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bobbie looks a forlorn figure.
