Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Repa Kiki (ranked 2060 p4p, 258 weight class) and Bill Wilson (ranked 1559 p4p, 194 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiki misses the jab.
Wilson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kiki.
Wilson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kiki swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kiki has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kiki slips under a jab from Wilson.
Kiki lands a slapping body shot.
Kiki misses with a few strikes there.
Kiki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wilson has time to react.
Wilson moves to clinch but Kiki breaks away
letting Kiki counter with a right hand.

Kiki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wilson loads up on a big right hand but Kiki slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
No joy there for Kiki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kiki feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wilsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Kiki throws a shot from downtown. Wilson moves away and avoids it.

and Kiki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kiki digs a good body shot into Wilson's ribs.
Kiki cracks Wilson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Kiki is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Kiki feints with a jab and clips Wilson right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Wilson is sent crashing into the canvas and Kiki leaps in for the kill! Wilson tries to get to his feet but Kiki is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Wilson is in need of a savior and steps in!

After winning the bout, Repa Kiki thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
