Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sandee Gorgrip (ranked 3472 p4p, 390 weight class) and Green Cross (ranked 2939 p4p, 341 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cross clinches.
Gorgrip looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Cross lands a right hand.
Cross is pressed up against the cage. Gorgrip has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cross down to the mat. Cross avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Cross's coach down at Holding Cell was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cross's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Cross will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gorgrip up against the cage.
