Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Demetrius Tektas (ranked 1754 p4p, 211 weight class) and Dong Uk (ranked 3141 p4p, 343 weight class). Tektas comes to the ring accompanied by Alexander The Great. Uk has chosen Bonobo - Prelude & Kiara as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Uk lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Uk thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tektas tries to counter with a takedown but Uk is quick to defend against it.
Tektas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've been hearing reports that Tektas has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Uk tries to bum rush Tektas with a series of wild strikes but Tektas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dong Uk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tektas is really struggling to control Uk but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Demetrius Tektas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Uk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dong Uk decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Demetrius Tektas was interviewed post fight and said 'I am sorry . I did all my best. '.
