Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenton James (ranked 4376 p4p, 503 weight class) and Caramon Majere (ranked 5602 p4p, 566 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Kenton James will probably get the nod.

James has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

and James counters with a crisp one two that drops Majere! James thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Majere to his feet! Majere is in big trouble!

Kenton James is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

James rushes Majere and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

James dips a shoulder and cracks Majere with a mighty uppercut! Majere falls back against the cage and James unloads with a barrage of strikes! Majere is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - James screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenton James!
A very excited looking Kenton James rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
