Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Robertson (ranked 4983 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Stone (ranked 7270 p4p, 501 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Stone!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.
Robertson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stone is out of range and Robertson settles back down.
Stone drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Robertson defends it well.
Robertson tries to clinch up.
And Stone tries to counter it with a takedown but Robertson pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Stone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Robertson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Robertson wants to get up but he can't break Stone's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stone has his foot on Robertson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robertson works his way back into a safe position though.

Robertson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stone sprawls well initially but Robertson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Robertson tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Stone preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Robertson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
