And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Donson Denille has been cut.
Samuel Douglas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Denille looks to land a combination. Douglas sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Douglas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Douglas on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Denille throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Denille lands a right hook to the body.
Douglas misses the shot to the body.
Douglas scores with a jab to the body.

Denille works Douglas's body with a nice hook.
Denille is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Douglas.

Douglas connects with a looping right hand.
Douglas throws a wild body kick that Denille sees coming a mile off.
Douglas lands a front kick.
Douglas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Denille walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Douglas checks a leg kick.
Douglas swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Douglas lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Denille looks winded!

Douglas steps into range and cracks Denille with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Denille flops backwards and Douglas dives into his guard looking to finish!

Denille is rocked!

Douglas drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Douglas seems to have locked his on tight now - Denille screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Douglas, as he picks up the win!
