Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Santiago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jair Cabral!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santiago closes the distance and pushes Cabral back into the cage.
Santiago lands a body shot in the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Santiago.
A short right from Santiago.
Santiago lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cabral backwards.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Cabral has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Santiago after a bit of a struggle.
Cabral tries to pull guard but Santiago won't allow it.
Santiago lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Cabral working hard to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santiago softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Santiago lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Santiago is pressed up against the cage. Cabral has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Santiago down to the mat. Santiago avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Roberto Santiago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jair Cabral.

Santiago pushes Cabral up against the cage in a clinch.
Cabral jumps guard but Santiago stands there with Cabral around his waist. Cabral gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Santiago.
Cabral looks winded!
Santiago softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Cabral goes for a takedown attempt but Santiago pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Santiago cracks Cabral on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Cabral falls backwards against the cage. Santiago follows up with more strikes that drop Cabral to his knees. Santiago keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Cabral! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roberto Santiago!
A very excited looking Roberto Santiago rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
