Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dumile darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Souza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dumile. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dumile content to control rather than advance.

Souza is doing well to control the position and prevent Dumile from advancing to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dumile tries to pass the half guard into mount. Souza knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Dumile throws a nice looking combination but Souza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Souza shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dumile sprawls well. Dumile wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Souza gets slowly back to his feet.
As Souza looks to move away, Dumile throws a big counter combo but Souza just gets out of the way.
Dumile throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Souza's waist but Souza gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dumile off to one side.

Souza darts in and clinches Dumile up against the cage.
Souza manages to break the clinch.

Souza tries to close the distance and clinch but Dumile swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dumile throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Souza shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dumile counters with a shoot takedown. Souza fights it but they end up in guard.
Souza is breathing heavily.
Souza had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dumile defends it easily.
Souza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dumile gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dumile is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dumile's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daniel Dumile will probably get the nod.

Souza throws a lazy uppercut
and Dumile counters with a single leg into guard. Souza didn't expect that.
Dumile is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Souza isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dumile stacks Souza on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dumile!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Souza can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dumile cracks Souza with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Souza takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Dumile lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Souza is in a horrible position here. Dumile smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
