Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert Higgs (ranked 1248 p4p, 174 weight class) and Hulk Hogan (ranked 1933 p4p, 252 weight class). Hogan has chosen My Time Is Now as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Higgs.
Higgs shoots for a takedown but Hogan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Higgs drives through and clinches with Hogan against the cage.
Hogan throws a head punch that misses.
Higgs drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hogan pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Higgs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Higgs throws the kick towards the body but Hogan avoids it.

and Hogan counters with a single leg into guard. Higgs didn't expect that.
Higgs has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
