Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ravi Shankoli (ranked 1073 p4p, 165 weight class) and Ronald Fredrick (ranked 2511 p4p, 342 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shankoli might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ravi Shankar - Om Shiva. Fredrick is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz: Throw It Up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredrick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shankoli moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
It looked like Shankoli was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A punch combination from Fredrick misses.
Shankoli is looking to counter punch.
Fredrick doesn't manage to clinch there - Shankoli circles away.
Shankoli throwing a counter right hand but Fredrick manages to avoid it.
Fredrick bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

and Shankoli counters with a body kick that stops Fredrick in his tracks momentarily.

Shankoli tries to keep at a distance but Fredrick has taken the fight into the clinch.

Fredrick tries to close the distance and clinch but Shankoli swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fredrick throws a body shot but no joy.

Fredrick throws a low kick, looking for Shankoli's leg but Shankoli calmly moves out of range.
Shankoli seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Fredrick throws a wild body kick that Shankoli sees coming a mile off.
Shankoli looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fredrick wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

As Fredrick backs away, Shankoli returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and before Fredrick can reset, Shankoli rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Fredrick is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!

and Shankoli counters with a big uppercut that drops Fredrick face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Ravi Shankoli!
Ravi Shankoli made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'His spirit was strong, but my intention was to crush him. Psychologically, as well as physically with my boxing. I knew that he would be a willing opponent, and he showed heart, but my soul wanted this more! I feel strongly against animal violence, but in this case taking the hammer to the panda wa'.
Ronald Fredrick was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll see you soon!!!'.
