Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Lombard (ranked 1230 p4p, 191 weight class) and Samuel Kravac (ranked 1436 p4p, 218 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lombard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shinedown - Sound Of Madness . Samuel Kravac told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lombard throws a body shot but no joy.
Kravac slips under a jab.
Lombard connects with a right hand. Kravac shakes it off.
Lombard with a nice cross.
Kravac cracks Lombard with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kravac connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kravac swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lombard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kravac.
Some wild striking there from Lombard.
Kravac throws a body punch but Lombard moves out of range.
Lombard looks to land a body kick but Kravac moved away.
Kravac avoids the body shot from Lombard.
Kravac throws a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lombard takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kravac throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kravac takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Lombard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kravac has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kravac drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kravac stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Lombard has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Kravac manages to get his head free but now Lombard has transitioned to an armbar! Kravac grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Lombard! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hank Lombard!
During a confident post fight interview, Hank Lombard thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
