Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aslan Ramesha (ranked 4526 p4p, 352 weight class) and Moses Makwame (ranked 4164 p4p, 334 weight class). Makwame has chosen House of Pain - Jump Around as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aslan Ramesha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Moses Makwame!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramesha gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Makwame counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ramesha has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Ramesha tightens his grip and picks Makwame up, before dumping him to the ground. Makwame manages to land in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Makwame is trying to control. Ramesha wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ramesha avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Makwame.

Makwame is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ramesha defends it well.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Makwame, as that shot connected.

Ramesha bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Ramesha connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Makwame some visible discomfort.

Makwame is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Makwame regains full guard. Nicely done.
Makwame bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ramesha's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ramesha can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Makwame controls the pace.

Ramesha tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ramesha holds on and takes a little breather.
Makwame wants to pass the guard but Ramesha is keeping the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Moses Makwame showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Moses Makwame comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Makwame has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
