Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Amado Medel (ranked 5769 p4p, 559 weight class) and Binh Goh (ranked 3370 p4p, 414 weight class). Medel comes to the ring accompanied by December Avenue-Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-ibig. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medel throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Medel on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Goh tries to clinch up but Medel circles away and keeps his distance.
Goh misses with a two punch combination.
Medel misses with a body punch
and Goh counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Medel lands with a kick to the temple. Goh shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Medel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Goh counters with a straight right hand.
Goh takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Goh tries to close the distance and clinch but Medel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Medel throws a quick counter kick to the body but Goh avoids it.
Goh takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Medel swats away the attempt to clinch by Goh.
Medel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Goh is looking to clinch.
Medel throws a nice head kick!
Medel cracks the inside of Goh's front leg.
Medel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Goh moves forwards but Medel connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Goh throws a low kick but it's checked well by Medel.
Crunch! Medel slams his shin into Goh's torso.
Medel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Goh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Goh forces Medel back against the ropes and clinches.
Medel tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Medel scores with a nice hook to the head.
Medel lands with a left to the head.
A right handed body shot lands from Medel.
Medel tries to throw a body punch but Goh avoids it by throwing Medel back against the ropes.
Medel goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Goh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Medel blocks a leg kick.
Medel thumps Goh with a low kick.

Goh forces Medel back against the ropes and clinches.
Goh is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Goh manages to break the clinch.

Medel just misses with a punch to the body.
Goh scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Medel throws a sloppy head kick and Goh moves out of range easily.
Goh wants to counter with a clinch but Medel pushes him away.

Goh forces Medel back against the ropes and clinches.
Medel misses with a punch to the body.
A right handed body shot lands from Medel.

Medel can't find room to land a body shot as Goh controls the action.
Goh controlling the action here for a moment.

Goh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Amado Medel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Goh walks forward, straight into a front kick from Medel.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Medel.
Goh gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Medel scores with a head kick. Goh tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Medel dodges the punch combination from Goh.
Goh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Goh looks winded!
Goh takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Medel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Goh's calf.

Goh moves into the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Medel.
Medel misses with a hook to the ribs.
Medel pushes Goh back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Medel tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Medel lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Goh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Medel is looking to slow Goh down with leg kicks.
Medel is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Medel lands a high kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick from Medel lands but Goh takes it in his stride.

Medel bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Medel cracks Goh with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Goh is still on wobbly legs! Can Medel finish him?

Medel connects with a quick right hand that sends Goh tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

Amado Medel made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Dear mom, you are the best mom in the world. I love you so much.'.
