Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Earl Lee Grace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Colin Turnbull!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turnbull clinches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Turnbull.
A nice right hand lands inside from Grace.
Grace tries a body shot but Turnbull blocks it.
Grace tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Turnbull goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Grace.
Grace manages to break the clinch.
Turnbull tries to score with a low kick but Grace moves his leg out of the way.
Grace wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Grace lands a head shot.
Grace takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Earl Lee Grace has been cut.
Turnbull fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Turnbull fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Grace has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Turnbull wants to land a leg kick but Grace is out of range.
Grace lands with an overhand left.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turnbull takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Turnbull looks for the body kick but Grace saw that one coming.
Decent striking displayed by Turnbull there.
Grace swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Turnbull throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Turnbull throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grace checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Grace rushes Turnbull and presses him up against the cage.
Grace breaks from the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Turnbull. That's going to slow Grace down.
Grace slips a straight right by Turnbull.
Grace was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Turnbull with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Grace throws a lazy right hand but Turnbull sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Turnbull lands a leg kick that knocks Grace off balance momentarily.
Grace tests Turnbull's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Grace misses with a straight right.
Turnbull misses with a body shot
and Grace counters with a stiff right hand.
Turnbull lands a jab to the head.
Grace throws a lazy right hand but Turnbull sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Grace scores with a jab to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grace lands with a nice body punch.
Turnbull swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Grace throws a nice inside leg kick.
Turnbull rushes Grace and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grace's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Grace, right into the meat.
Grace scores with a leg kick.
Oooooh!!! Turnbull has knocked Grace down with a huge combo! Turnbull steps away and waves a wobbly Grace back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Grace throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Turnbull throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Grace takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A low kick from Turnbull misses
and Grace counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Turnbull on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Grace. Grace obviously looking to wear him down.
Turnbull swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Grace wants to clinch.
Turnbull steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grace.
Turnbull connects with a body shot that sends Grace's belly button to the back.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Turnbull! Grace is backing up but he can't get away as Turnbull lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Grace and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Colin Turnbull!
