Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pyotr Alexandrovna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pyotr Alexandrovna has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Drago.

Alexandrovna closes the distance and clinches.
Alexandrovna taking a breather.
Drago throws a head punch that misses.
Alexandrovna blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Alexandrovna's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Alexandrovna is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Drago can't fight it off and eventually Alexandrovna manages to take the fight to the floor. Drago looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Drago trying to keep a closed guard but Alexandrovna is proving a slippery customer.
Alexandrovna sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Drago's guard.

Drago wants to hold on but Alexandrovna pushes him away.

Drago is bucking up trying to escape but Alexandrovna cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Drago really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alexandrovna. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Alexandrovna jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Drago is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Drago and Alexandrovna has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alexandrovna tries to advance to mount but Drago denies him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Alexandrovna throws a chopping leg kick but Drago manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Alexandrovna is looking to chop away at Drago's legs.

Alexandrovna has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Alexandrovna has an Americana. Drago didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Alexandrovna is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Alexandrovna hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
