PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ricco McGregor (ranked 6253 p4p, 167 weight class) and Bad Boy (ranked 3574 p4p, 98 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Ricco McGregor has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ricco McGregor seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy throws a right hand that McGregor ducks under and follows up with a left that McGregor also avoids with ease.
Boy looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Boy chopping away at his opponent's legs.
McGregor's corner calls for a 1-2. McGregor obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
McGregor throws out a leg kick but Boy moves out of range and McGregor only half commits.
McGregor lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Boy lands a head kick that bluckles McGregor and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Boy no doubt looking to push for a finish!

It looks like Ricco McGregor has been cut.

Sloppy strikes from Boy. Those never looked like landing.
McGregor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Boy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McGregor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McGregor checks the leg kick nicely there.
McGregor throws a head kick but Boy moves out of range.

No joy there for Boy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGregor lands with an uppercut that bounces Boy off the ropes and back into range.
McGregor stuns Boy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A head kick from McGregor lands but Boy takes it in his stride.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Boy has eaten all the pies!

and McGregor counters with a straight right hand.
Boy gets off balance looking for a body kick
and McGregor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boy looks winded!
McGregor works Boy's body with a nice hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGregor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McGregor uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
McGregor is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
McGregor connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Boy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Boy there as he acknowledges the shot.
McGregor lands a jab to Boy's midsection.
McGregor ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
McGregor scores with a body shot.
McGregor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McGregor cracks a nice hook into Boy's ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGregor lands a front kick to the face, that drops Boy to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!

It looks like Bad Boy has been cut.
McGregor throws a nice inside leg kick.
McGregor wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

McGregor catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Boy stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Boy walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

McGregor is looking to wear down Boy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
McGregor connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Boy out cold! This one is over in a flash!
