Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stig Jahr (ranked 5539 p4p, 535 weight class) and Frank Murphy (ranked 3442 p4p, 425 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jahr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Murphy.
Murphy throws a hook but Jahr avoids it easily.
Jahr checks a leg kick nicely.
Jahr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Murphy.
Frank Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jahr checks a low kick from Murphy.
Jahr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Murphy is still in real trouble! Can Jahr finish him?
Jahr postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Murphy covers up, he's hurt! Jahr keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Jahr and the ref steps in to end the fight! Jahr can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

In his post fight interview, Stig Jahr started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
