Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carmine Turturro (ranked 4284 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Chaitle (ranked 5422 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turturro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chaitle's guard.
Turturro looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Chaitle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turturro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Turturro slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Turturro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Turturro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Turturro passes Chaitle's left leg - he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Turturro is looking for a kimura but Chaitle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Turturro to get the leverage.
Turturro slows the pace down in half guard.
Turturro has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
