Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will David (ranked 25021 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonh Sinimoy (ranked 4087 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonh Sinimoy has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Will David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonh Sinimoy!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

David moves into the clinch successfully.
David could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sinimoy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
David is trying to pull guard but Sinimoy turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

David manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

David is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sinimoy defends well.
David has control of Sinimoy's left arm, preventing Sinimoy from doing any damage.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sinimoy working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Sinimoy throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
David looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sinimoy is one step ahead there.

David is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sinimoy trying to control but David is working from the bottom.
David is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


David decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

David takes the fight into the clinch.

Sinimoy breaks the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

David rushes Sinimoy and presses him up against the cage.

David escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - David looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sinimoy jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

David closes the distance and pushes Sinimoy back into the cage.

Sinimoy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Good shot there by Sinimoy.
David tries to clinch but Sinimoy is having none of it.
Sinimoy unleashes a big counter combination but David bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

David darts in and clinches Sinimoy up against the cage.
Sinimoy wants to break free but David has control.

Sinimoy wants the takedown. David is fighting it off but Sinimoy persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in David's guard against the cage.
Sinimoy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as David holds on and takes a little breather.

David is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
David bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sinimoy's guard.

David working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
David postures up in Sinimoy's guard and throws a big left but Sinimoy blocks it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as David accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
David throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sinimoy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

David stands and steps away. Sinimoy gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

David gets the takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sinimoy is trying to escape the position but David is controlling the position.

David tries for a kimura but Sinimoy is defending well.
David in side control, throwing shots but Sinimoy defends.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Will David dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



David shoots in and gets a takedown into Sinimoy's guard.
Sinimoy is looking to sweep but instead, David has passed into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

David is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sinimoy sees it coming and defends easily.

David seems to be looking for submissions.
David has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sinimoy tries to roll over but David keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
David scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
David is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sinimoy can do to turn this around?

David has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sinimoy defend it? David steps over the head and cranks it - Sinimoy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for David!
