Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Petar Damljanovic (ranked 5222 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rutger Myers (ranked 5237 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers misses with a wild combination.
An attempted straight right counter from Damljanovic misses the target.
Damljanovic fails in his attempt to clinch.
Myers throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Damljanovic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Myers misses with a few strikes there.

Myers throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Damljanovic tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Myers is in Damljanovic's guard.
Myers postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Damljanovic pulls Myers in close to prevent any damage.
Myers looking to sit in guard and control but Damljanovic gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Myers has hold of one of Damljanovic's legs. Damljanovic is fighting the takedown attempt but Myers gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Damljanovic postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Myers is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Myers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Myers closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Damljanovic's guard.

Myers arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Damljanovic's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

A relieved looking Rutger Myers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
