PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Mosley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugene Bradley Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mosley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bring Da Pain. Burns is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fedor Entrance Song . The key to victory for Shane Mosley has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Mosley!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Eugene Bradley Burns!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burns bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mosley sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Burns is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mosley is just riding it out for now. Burns eventually gives up the hold.
Mosley wants to get back to his feet.

Burns feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A close third round but Eugene Bradley Burns just about did enough to take it.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Shane Mosley will probably get the nod.
