The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OCallaghan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
OCallaghan drops an elbow to the side of Silva's head.
Silva trying to hold on to OCallaghan's head to control him but OCallaghan postures up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OCallaghan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Silva could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Silva tries to roll over but OCallaghan keeps him under control.

OCallaghan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time OCallaghan.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Brant Silva has been cut.
OCallaghan slips a nice elbow through Silva's hands, connecting with Silva's forehead.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
OCallaghan is trying to work for a kimura but Silva is defending well.

OCallaghan is nestled in close to Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
OCallaghan is taking a breather. Silva says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
OCallaghan is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Silva is hurt! He's hurt bad - OCallaghan fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Silva from any more punishment! Congratulations to OCallaghan! Great finish!
