The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Day misses
and Anders counters with a straight right hand.
Day looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Oooooh!!! Anders has knocked Day down with a huge combo! Anders steps away and waves a wobbly Day back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Day is rocked!
Day swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Anders counters with a right hand to the body.
Day is still on wobbly legs! Can Anders finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Day finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Anders's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Day falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ingemar Anders!
A relieved looking Ingemar Anders thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
