Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompkins takes the fight into the clinch.
Camacho tries for a takedown. No joy.

Camacho has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Thompkins wants to stand up but Camacho is controlling him.

Thompkins is pulling down on Camacho's head. It's preventing any offense from Camacho, at least for the moment.

Camacho decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Thompkins, up you get!

Camacho drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Thompkins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Camacho on his heels. He'll look to pass Camacho's guard now, I'm sure.

Camacho has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thompkins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Camacho wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Thompkins.

Thompkins is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Camacho to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Camacho shrugs it off.
Thompkins lands a big shot there that rocks Camacho but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Thompkins looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Camacho is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Camacho tries to reverse the position but Thompkins maintains control.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Camacho takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Thompkins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Camacho tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thompkins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
