Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adolfo Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Vincent!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vincent shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vincent showed some decent athleticism there.
Vincent lands strikes from half guard.
Cole might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cole missing with punches from the bottom.
Cole wants to control but Vincent is keeping busy.
Vincent is figuring out what he wants to do next.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cole is trying to stand up here but Vincent is controlling him well.

Vincent seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cole does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cole gets caught napping as Vincent dives in and scores a takedown. Cole manages to retain guard.

Let's hope that Vincent has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ryan Vincent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Vincent checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Cole tries to sprawl but Vincent drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Vincent moves nicely into side control.
Vincent postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ryan Vincent has got the better of the ground game so far.

Vincent is trying to get an arm triangle but Cole is defending well.
Vincent wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cole keeps working.

Vincent is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Vincent perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Cole is in close to Vincent's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Vincent escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cole gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cole keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vincent's head.
Cole throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Vincent looking for a sweep. Not yet Vincent, not yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Vincent closes the distance and pushes Cole back into the cage.
Vincent lands a shoulder strike.
Vincent is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cole is defending well for now.

Cole is looking to control Vincent's arms but Vincent gets an underhook and turns him. Now Cole has his back to the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Vincent creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Vincent has picked Cole up - he's going for a ride! Vincent dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Vincent tries to stand and escape but Cole is controlling the position.

Vincent is working for a submission of some sort.
Vincent takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cole is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

I've got Vincent winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
